Your Starter Position

Every participant receives real Bitcoin — your Starter Position — included as course material. You learn wallet setup, receiving, and self-custody with Bitcoin that's actually yours.

Here's how the amount is set: when enrollment opens for your session date — 12:00 PM ET, fifteen days before Session One — we set your cohort's Starter Position at approximately $500 worth of Bitcoin at that moment. Bitcoin's price moves, so the exact quantity differs from cohort to cohort — but everyone in your cohort receives the identical amount.

How do I know I'll actually receive my Bitcoin?+

Fair question, and exactly the right one to ask before trusting anyone with a Bitcoin transaction. After your first session, you'll know how to set up your own wallet and send us the address. We send a small test amount first — you confirm it's arrived — then we send the rest. You'll see it land in your own wallet, at each step, before anything else happens. This is also the safe, correct way to send Bitcoin in general, so you're learning the right habit from day one.

How much Bitcoin is included?+

Approximately $500 worth at the moment enrollment opens for your session date. Everyone in your cohort receives the identical amount, and your exact quantity is confirmed in writing in your welcome email. See "Your Starter Position" above for how it works.

What if I decide it's not for me?+

Any time before you send us your wallet address — which happens after your first session — just let us know Bitcoin Foundations isn't the right fit, and we'll refund your enrollment in full. Once you've sent that address, your enrollment is final: that's the point we begin sending you real Bitcoin, and Bitcoin transactions can't be reversed.

Do I need to know anything about Bitcoin first?+

No. This program is designed for people who know very little - or nothing at all - about Bitcoin. If you already have some knowledge, that's a bonus and will make your journey that much easier.

What if I can't make a live session?+

Both sessions are recorded, so if you can't attend live, you'll still have access to watch it afterward. That said, we'd encourage attending live if you can — it's an interactive session, so you'll get real-time answers to your own questions.

When do I get my Bitcoin?+

Between your two sessions — once your wallet is set up and you've sent us your address.

Is this investment advice?+

No. This is strictly education, not financial advice. Nothing in the program should be interpreted as investment advice. Always do your own research.

If the program isn't possible right now

Some people want to do this and can't do it this way, and the honest answer for them isn't a discounted version of the program. There isn't one.
